Terms of Service

By accessing, browsing, or utilizing the official website (macl.aero), mobile applications, VIP lounge reservation engines, or passenger Wi-Fi network operated by Maldives Airports Company Limited ("MACL"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must refrain from using MACL digital platforms and online services.

All content published on MACL digital assets—including logos, trademarks, flight schedule feeds, air traffic statistical charts, operational guidelines, text, photography, and code—is the exclusive intellectual property of Maldives Airports Company Limited or its licensed partners. Prohibited Actions: Automated web scraping, data extraction of flight schedules for commercial resale, unauthorized trademark reproduction, or mirroring of MACL web pages without prior written authorization from the Legal Secretariat is strictly prohibited.

Passengers and visitors entering Velana International Airport premises, passenger terminals, VIP lounges (Maamahi & Koveli), and surrounding harbor amenities are required to comply with: Security Directives: Aviation Security Command guidelines, baggage screening protocols, and restricted airside area access rules. Safety & Public Decorum: Adherence to terminal safety instructions, emergency egress paths, and courteous conduct toward airport staff.

Reservations submitted through MACL commercial portals (including Maamahi Executive Lounge, Koveli Lounge, vehicle permits, and cargo booking tools) are subject to availability and confirmation by MACL customer service representatives. - Fees for commercial services, lounge bookings, and permits are levied in accordance with approved MACL charges schedules. - Cancellation or rescheduling requests must be submitted within the specified advance window provided during booking.

Flight schedules, gate assignments, and arrival/departure updates displayed on MACL digital platforms are sourced directly from air traffic systems and airline partners. While MACL makes every effort to ensure real-time accuracy, schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational delays, or air traffic control directives. MACL shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from flight delays, third-party airline schedule modifications, or temporary web service disruptions.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any legal proceedings or disputes arising from the use of MACL services shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Maldives.
